JOB DESCRIPTION

We are on the lookout for a Houdini FX artist! You should have strong technical and artistic knowledge and be skilled in implementing the set-up and simulations on shots and sequences, providing the team with both test and final renders of the elements. Our main focus is water simulation, so proven experience in these are preferred, although specialisms within other simulation systems such as pyro, fluid and cloth simulations are welcomed.

How you’ll help us grow it - above and beyond

• Create realistic and controllable FX setups using Houdini FX


• Exceptional technical skills and artistic talent, demonstrated by previous work


• Proven experience creating high quality FLIP simulations


• Strong understanding of physical dynamics and natural phenomena


• Revise simulations and implement feedback from clients and supervisors


• Ability to finding innovative solutions to creative and technical problems


• Proactively contribute to the creative look along with the supervisor team


• Help us move our Houdini FX pipeline forward
  
  

Skills and Experience: 

• 5+ years experience in Houdini FX

• Scripting abilities


• Lighting experience
