Job Description - Gardeners

Take pride in maintaining the green spaces that make Edinburgh such a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work, and visit. Our dedicated gardening team offers a professional and reliable service for residential areas, parks, public spaces, schools, and community facilities across the city.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Hours: 07.30 - 15.15 with 33min break
Locations: Inverleith, The Inch or Sighthill
Rate of Pay: £13.26 per hour
Temporary until October 2025

Duties to include:

Grass cutting and edging
Strimming
Maintenance of sports pitches and playing fields
Seasonal grounds care and weed control
Hedge trimming and shrub bed maintenance
Landscaping
Operating of gardening machinery
Dealing with members of the public

Must have:

Excellent time keeping
Team player
Ability to work alone
Eye for detail
Understanding of basic health and safety
