GCP Cloud Architect Contract

I am working with a client who is looking for a Principal Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of a foundational data platform for a greenfield project. This role is crucial in setting up cloud infrastructure, data ingestion pipelines, and BigQuery data models, ensuring scalability and security in an AI-driven environment. You will work closely with internal teams and the client to deliver a robust, cloud-native data architecture.

• Design and implement a foundational data platform on GCP.

• Set up cloud foundations and landing zones to support scalable data operations.

• Develop data ingestion pipelines and perform BigQuery data modeling.

• Deliver low-level design and documentation to support long-term sustainability.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and execute solutions.

• Strong technical expertise in cloud architecture and data engineering.

• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, IAM, Logins, CI/CD, Cloud Networking, and GCP.

• Proven ability to solve complex problems in AI-driven and high-scale environments.

• Experience working in consulting and project-based environments.

• Ability to work independently without micromanagement, ensuring project success.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and deliver technical solutions.
