GDS Service Assessment Consultant - Contract (2-3 Days/Week)
We're looking for an experienced GDS Service Assessment Consultant to support our multidisciplinary team in preparing for an upcoming GDS Alpha or Beta assessment. This is an 8-16 week contract (2-3 days/week) working on a complex API-centric platform within a regulated environment.

You'll lead a structured readiness review, coach presenters, and guide the creation of user-centred evidence packs, service maps, accessibility documentation, and more. We need someone who's navigated GDS assessments before and understands the Government Service Standard inside out.

You'll work closely with delivery leads, user researchers, service designers, and architects to ensure the team is set up for success before, during, and after the assessment.

Location: UK-based / remote (hybrid available)
