General Assistant/Cleaner

Location: Bristol
Start Dates: ASAP
Duration: 31st October with potential of extension
Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour

Hours: 4 days on, 2 days off - shifts include weekends and bank holidays
Shift Times: 07:00-15:30 or 07:30-16:00

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking General Assistants/Cleaners to join our client, a global leader in aviation services. This role offers variety and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting airline catering and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Production area:

• Prepare and plate food for airline use
• Handle packed food items
• Pack amenity kits and flight condiments

Wash area:

• General cleaning of equipment and surfaces
• Waste removal
• Wash airline equipment to strict hygiene standards

Equipment area:

• Stack and rotate stock on shelves
• Monitor and re-order dry stock

Search and Seal Area:

• Inspect goods to ensure no prohibited items
• Check for damaged stock
• Complete required documentation

General Cleaning Duties:

• Follow daily cleaning regimes
• Maintain high hygiene standards
• Tasks include mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning washrooms, and working in the wash area

Skills and Experience Required:

• Comfortable handling pork, tobacco, and alcohol products
• Able to stand for long periods with good mobility
• Willing to work in a chilled environment (preferable but not essential)
• Good understanding of English (spoken and written)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to quality, hygiene, and meeting deadlines
