Job Title: General Building Services Operative / Handy Person
Location: Thetford
Pay Rate: £12.28 per hour
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Duration: Minimum 2-3 months, with potential to extend
Role Overview
We are seeking two reliable and skilled Handy Persons to join our Building Services team. This role involves a variety of general maintenance and building support tasks to ensure the smooth running of site operations.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out painting and decorating tasks as required
Install and hang signage around the site
Perform general repairs, maintenance, and minor fixes
Support with ad-hoc building service requests
Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Report any major maintenance issues to the supervisor

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in general building services or maintenance roles desirable
Practical skills in painting, basic carpentry, and general repairs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Contract Details

Rate: £12.28 per hour
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday
Duration: 2-3 months minimum, with potential extension
