General Operative

Our client in Sittingbourne, is currently looking for a General Operative to join their developing team on a temporary ongoing basis. Please note this is an extremely physical role, where you will be required to lift and manoeuvre stock on a daily basis by hand.

Salary and Benefits:
* £14.41 per hour
* Monday to Friday
* 05:30 - 14:00 and 13:30 - 22:00 (rotating shifts each week with occasional weekend work)
* Sittingbourne, Kent
* 28 days holiday
* Weekly pay
* Full training and PPE is provided

The role:
* Working independently as well as within a team
* Adhering to Health and Safety procedures
* Working within the yard directing incoming traffic
* General physical duties, lifting, shifting and manoeuvring stock on a daily basis
* Working in an inside/outside environment depending on the section

Skills and Attributes required:
* Ability to work in a team and on your own ensuring health & safety compliance
* Good timekeeping/reliable
* Basic computer skills
* Willingness to learn on the job skills for progression
* Self-motivation
