General Operative

A number of General Operatives are required for a contract role in the Highway Maintenance Sector.

As General Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with general labour tasks such as loading/unloading, site clean-up, or basic maintenance.
• Supporting warehouse operations including picking, packing, and stock movement.
• Carrying out manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Following instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

We’re looking for General Operatives with:

• Previous experience in warehouse, construction, or outdoor labour roles is desirable but not essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
