General Operative - Nights

General Operative, Airdrie, £14.13/ph

We are looking for General Operatives to join our established night-shift team in Plains, Airdrie.
This is a hands-on role focused on preparing the workshop for painting and production activities the following day.

As a General Operative, you will be tasked with:

• Cleaning, sanding, and filling surfaces in preparation for painting
• Applying masking tape and protective coverings to trims and edges
• Assisting painters by organising tools, materials, and equipment
• Setting up work areas and workstations for the day shift
• Cleaning and maintaining tools, paint equipment, and the general work-space
• Following all health & safety procedures to ensure safe use of tools and equipment

What you can expect:

• A pay rate of £14.13 per hour
• Night-shift work pattern: Monday to Friday
• Regular opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates
• Ongoing training & development
• Clear path to a permanent contract and long-term progression

What we're looking for:

• A solid work history and a strong, reliable work ethic
• Experience in a factory, warehouse, or production environment preferred
