General Teaching Assistant

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant seeking a general teaching assistant post that allows you to enjoy working across a class? Are you looking for a committed role from September 2025. Are you available Monday - Friday between 8:30-3:30?

If so, we are looking for you! We are after a L3 general teaching assistant with previous classroom experience to support the class teacher with class preparation, resource printing, student records and journals and supporting children on a whole class, small group and 1:1 basis.

Ideally you will have a high IT ability and be fluent with an IPAD. The class you will be based in is Y1, KS1, so any experience in this key stage would be desirable. We are looking for someone qualified, experienced, and committed who can provide consistency and support to this class for the remainder of the year.

This role is term time Monday - Friday between 8:30-3:30 with a 30-minute lunch break on a temporary contract to start from September - December 2025. Pay is £13.84 - £14.84 per hour. Our Primary school is Blackpool based FY1 with local transport routes and local parking available. The school site itself is a new build multi academy with new provisions, modern classes and interactive resources. They have an inclusive and diverse moto where every pupil is welcomed and supported in their development. This school is OFSTED rated Good and driving to excellent.
