The Role: As a Geography Teacher, you will have the chance to engage students with the wonders of the natural and human world through innovative lessons and interactive teaching strategies. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the subject, fostering their curiosity about the world around them.
• Designing engaging lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles, encouraging critical thinking and geographical enquiry.
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress, providing meaningful feedback to support their academic development.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and a love for the subject.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and develop creative resources.
• Engaging in extracurricular activities and school events to further contribute to the school's community spirit.

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about Geography but also committed to delivering high-quality teaching. The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with the drive to excel in the classroom.
• Have a strong academic background in Geography and a clear enthusiasm for the subject.
• Be able to engage and motivate students, using innovative teaching methods to bring the subject to life.
• Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Be dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
