Here at The Supply Register we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join Longfield Academy for September 2025.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Geography Teaching and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment.

Duties

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover the curriculum
• Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Provide mentoring and tutoring support to students who require additional assistance.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and practical evaluations.

Requirements

• Must hold QTS or equivalent
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Must hold the right to work for the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to process one
