Geotechnical Design Engineer - OUTSIDE IR35

£350 - £450 per day - 12-month contract and likely to extend

Long-term contract or Permanent opportunity for a Geotechnical Design Engineer to support the water utilities sector in technical design, safety, and quality.

This role would be well suited to a Geotechnical/Civils design engineer with experience in the UK water industry, offering a variety of projects, including storage solution design.

Due to significant growth, the company is seeking additional Senior Design Engineers to join the team. You will benefit from working closely with like-minded, highly experienced and skilled design team that handles projects from concept to commissioning. Your work will be diverse and challenging, ensuring no two days are alike.

This role involves collaborating with clients on diverse design projects, ensuring quality and technical excellence. Responsibilities include producing calculations, creating industry-standard drawings, preparing investigations, reports, and specifications, and presenting findings. You will also collaborate with the broader engineering team and contribute to the development of junior engineers and graduates.

The Role:
* Geotechnical Design Engineer - Contracting and Permanent available
* Produce diagrams, layouts, and detailed drawings
* Good geotechnical understanding, including ability to produce ground investigation specifications, interpretive reports and design reports.

Candidate Requirements:
* HNC or Engineering Degree
* Water Industry experience
* Regulated infrastructure industry
