Geotechnical Engineer

Attention all Geotechnical Engineers!

We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering company, in a contract position. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office in Northamptonshire. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting infrastructure projects.

-Rate up to £480/day dependant on experience.

-Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for engineering projects.

-Guide project teams, liaise with clients, and ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects on time and within budget.

-Develop designs and documentation to meet project and technical requirements.

-Checking of design documents, calculations and drawings completed by other engineers.

-Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections.

What we are looking for:

-Experience in a relevant discipline with a track record of delivering high profile projects.

-Experience with design using various material e.g. concrete, steel, timber and masonry.

-Effective communication and teamwork skills

-Expertise using calculations and analysis tools such as Slope W, Settle 3, CADS Pile Suite, PILE, ALP, Kubla Cubed, or similar.
