THE COMPANY: Our client is an expert provider of professional services, who is seeking a Governance Consultant on a 12-month FTC basis to join their London-based office.

THE ROLE:

• Lead and supervise a team of Senior Governance Administrators, fostering a supportive, high-performance environment.
• Demonstrate best practices in meeting governance, maintain client relationships, and ensure clear agendas and deliverables.
• Coordinate multiple committee meetings, manage memberships and attendees, and maintain meeting activity planners.
• Review documents for accuracy and consistency, prepare documentation, and manage meeting actions and timelines.
• Continuously improve team processes, manage monthly reporting, and ensure service levels and deadlines are met.

THE PERSON:

• Proven stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence and manage peers, upwards and downwards.
• Methodical, diligent, and detail-oriented; excels in verifying assumptions and striving for excellence.
• Competent in understanding and communicating technical subjects, drafting new and improving existing processes, and presenting information clearly.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Experience in UK retail utilities/UK Smart Metering, and understanding of industry codes and governance (desirable); university graduate or of graduate calibre.
