Are you a Maths graduate with a passion for helping young people develop confidence and success in numeracy? Would you like to gain hands-on classroom experience in a rewarding, fast-paced environment before progressing into a career in teaching, education or youth work?

Tradewind Recruitment are working with secondary schools across Haringey who are seeking Graduate Maths Teaching Assistants to support learners in KS3 and KS4 who require extra help with their understanding of mathematical concepts. You'll be joining supportive departments where your subject knowledge and enthusiasm can have a real impact.

This is an excellent stepping stone if you're considering a career in education or training, offering you first-hand insight into classroom life, differentiated learning, and curriculum delivery in one of the UK's most important core subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students in Maths lessons and booster sessions
• Delivering one-to-one or small group interventions for students at various attainment levels
• Helping prepare resources and assist in tracking student progress
• Encouraging student engagement and improving academic confidence
• Collaborating with teaching staff to support behaviour and focus

What We're Looking For:

• A Maths or numeracy-focused degree
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Confidence working with young people
• Any previous tutoring, mentoring, or school experience is a bonus
