We are working on behalf of an Outstanding secondary school in Hounslow to recruit a Graduate Music Assistant & Cover Supervisor to join their team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with a background in Music, Performing Arts or a related field who is eager to gain hands-on school-based experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Role Overview:

• Position: Graduate Music Assistant & Cover Supervisor
• Location: Hounslow, West London
• Start Date: September 2025
• Contract: Full-time, term-time only
• Salary: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Music Department in lessons, rehearsals, and extracurricular activities
• Provide one-to-one or small group support for students in music classes
• Cover lessons across various subjects when required, following the school’s curriculum plans
• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
• Assist in organising school concerts, performances and music events
• Support students in developing their musical abilities and creativity

Requirements:

• A degree in Music or a related subject (or strong musical background)
• Enthusiasm for education and working with young people
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students and staff
• Previous experience working with young people or in schools (desirable but not essential)
