Positions Available
As a graduate seeking school experience Tradewind will be able to place you as a Cover Supervisor or a Teaching Assistant in Ormskirk. How do the roles differ?

Cover Supervisor Role
As a Cover Supervisor you will be required to oversee the completion of set work in the absence of the subject teacher. A role as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school
will really help refine your behaviour management strategies as you are responsible for managing the behaviour of the class. You are required to safeguard students' wellbeing, feedback at the end of the day to the cover manager, including reporting any issues.

Teacher Assistant Role
As a Teaching Assistant you could either work on a 1-2-1 or in a small group setting. The role of a Teaching Assistant could see you working with students with SEND or
students who have been identified as requiring catch up. As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to converse with the subject teacher to discuss specific requirements
for the lesson.

Pay Rate
We offer competitive rates of pay, depending on your experience and qualifications. For these roles you can expect between £90-£120 a day

The essentials:
To join us & be successful as a secondary school Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant, you will need to have:
* a Degree
* an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* a CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
* the Legal right to work in the UK
