Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Peterborough and the surrounding areas
Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm (must be available minimum one day per week)

Aspire People are recruiting graduates to join our schools in Peterborough and the surrounding areas as Teaching Assistants - a fantastic opportunity to gain practical classroom experience before pursuing formal teacher training.

You will be working closely with teachers to provide academic support to the students, including 1-1 and small group support.

What will you be doing?

- Assisting the teacher in the delivery of lessons
- Provide individual and small group support for students, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Assist with managing classroom behaviour
- Providing general support to students, ensuring work is completed and students are engaged
- Acting as a positive role model to the students

What do we need from you?

- Must be a University Graduate
- Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children in Education
- A keen interest in education with a desire to pursue a career in teaching
- You must have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS
