Salary: £90 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a bright, motivated graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education? Our vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Dagenham is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support our GCSE pupils both in the classroom and within a resourced provision.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning. You will be supporting students with a range of complex additional needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Dyslexia, and behavioural challenges.

We are particularly keen to hear from graduates with degrees in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, though we welcome applicants from all academic backgrounds who are eager to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with complex needs

• Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons to GCSE classes

• Support students' social, emotional, and academic development

• Work closely with the SEN team and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement in learning

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a degree in any subject (core subjects especially welcomed)

• Be considering a future in teaching or education

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Be patient, resilient, and adaptable in a dynamic school environment

• Be committed to supporting students with a variety of additional needs
