GRADUATE Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in the classroom, supporting teaching and learning, and working closely with pupils to help them achieve their potential.

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.

• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.

• Assist in planning and preparing learning resources.

• Help to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes.

• Support children's social and emotional development.

• Supervise pupils during non-teaching times (e.g., playtimes, lunchtimes, educational visits).

• Contribute to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

• Follow safeguarding and school policies to ensure the welfare of all pupils.

Essential:

• A recent graduate (any subject considered).

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching.

• Enthusiasm, energy and a passion for working with children.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn, take direction, and undertake training.
