Graduate Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor - St Helens

Graduate Cover Supervisor

• Manage the classroom in the absence of the subject teacher.

• Deliver pre-prepared work and keep students on task.

• Develop strong behaviour management skills.

• Provide daily feedback to the school's Cover Manager.

Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Work with students 1:1 or in small groups.

• Support pupils with SEND or those needing catch-up support.

• Assist subject teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

• Gain first-hand experience of secondary classroom teaching.

Both roles offer excellent experience for Graduates considering a career in teaching and are ideal preparation for a future PGCE or teacher training programme.
