Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00)

We are currently seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy and dedicated team maintaining public green spaces across East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong horticultural skills who enjoys working outdoors in a hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities:

• General grounds maintenance including mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting

• Hedge cutting and border upkeep

• Use of horticultural machinery such as strimmers, mowers, and blowers

• Application of pesticides (PA1 & PA6 desirable)

• Ensuring high standards of presentation across sites

Requirements:

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or horticulture

• Good plant knowledge and practical gardening skills

• Full UK driving licence (desirable)

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Basic DBS check (can be processed on your behalf)
