Location: Macclesfield (CW10)

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-3.30pm (37hrs per week)

Pay: £13.26ph paid weekly PAYE

Duration: Ongoing Contract - Long Term/Temp to Perm

Duties

To complete a range of maintenance and cleansing activities at the direction on of the client to ensure their Town/Parish area is a clean, safe, attractive place to live with well maintained public spaces in accordance with the Clients values and priorities ensuring all company and policies and procedures are adhered to.

Activities will include the maintenance of public open spaces, horticultural features, highway verges, car parks, formal parks, cemeteries and street cleansing duties.

Competently undertake a variety of grounds maintenance and street cleansing activities including, leaf clearance, strimming, litter picking, weeding, application of pesticides/herbicides (where qualified), street furniture maintenance and painting, visual play area inspections with some basic maintenance and repair work required.

Drive, operate, maintain and be responsible for the allocated vehicles, plant and associated equipment (when qualified) in the correct, safe and effective manner at all times, including responsibility for the completion of all daily maintenance checks and inspections on allocated vehicles and reporting of any defects in line with the defect reporting procedure.
