Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a small, friendly team at a prestigious private site. This is a newly created position ideal for someone practical, personable, and able to work independently. You’ll be working in a varied outdoor role, supporting the maintenance and transport teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• General grounds maintenance: mowing, drain cleaning, basic repairs, etc
• Driving the company vehicle to maintain and check the site
• Supporting the upkeep of an area with ongoing construction
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order across the site
• Communicating with colleagues to ensure a smooth work-flow between teams

Requirements:

• Full manual UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in grounds or estate maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Punctual, trustworthy, and able to follow instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills
