Grounds Operative / Gardener

Location: Yeovil

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary: £12.50 per hour (circa)

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Grounds Operative / Gardener to join our team in Yeovil. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a passion for horticulture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of horticultural tasks, including planting, trimming, and maintaining garden areas.
• Operate petrol-powered equipment such as strimmers, hedge trimmers, and lawnmowers.
• Ensure grounds are kept clean, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing at all times.
• Carry out general outdoor maintenance and contribute to the upkeep of the landscape.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or horticulture is preferred.
• Comfortable using petrol-powered tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A keen eye for detail and high standards of work.
