Groundworker / Kerb Layer

We're seeking a meticulous professional to join our team in Doncaster, focusing specifically on the installation of footpaths, with a strong emphasis on pin kerbs. As a specialist Kerb Layer on our project in Doncaster, you'll be crucial to the development of new footpaths. Your primary responsibility will be the accurate and efficient laying of kerbs, setting the foundation for durable pedestrian surfaces. Your key duties will include:

• Accurately setting out and installing pin kerbs to precise lines and levels for new footpaths.
• Preparing ground surfaces thoroughly, including excavation, levelling, and compacting, ready for kerb installation.
• Ensuring all kerbing work meets required specifications and quality standards, ready for the subsequent tarmac surface application (tarmac will be applied by other teams).
• Operating relevant hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Working collaboratively with other groundworkers and site management to ensure seamless progress.
• Adhering strictly to all site health and safety regulations at all times.

• Proven experience as a Kerb Layer, specifically with a strong focus on footpath and pin kerb installation.
• A solid background in groundworks and site preparation.
• A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and levels.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are paramount.
• A proactive approach to safety and site productivity.
