Group Accountant

This role is well suited to a technical accounting profile, ideally an ACA, with strong group consolidation experience for large organisations.

This business is owned by an American organisation, so Sox / US Gaap is a strong requirement.

Description

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in line with US reporting standards.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.
• Provide guidance on accounting policies and procedures to the team.
• Manage ad hoc financial projects and reporting tasks

Profile

A successful Group Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
• Experience in group accounting and financial consolidation.
• Knowledge of IFRS or similar accounting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• The ability to work effectively within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
