Group accountant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Group Accountant to join a global organisation backed by private equity. This role will be central to supporting consolidated reporting across a large, international group. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll ensure accurate financial reporting, support audits, and contribute to key finance projects during an exciting period of transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly consolidation of Group results, including intercompany eliminations, adjustments and reconciliations.
• Assist with external financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual), including statutory accounts and lender/PE reporting.
• Conduct analytical reviews of consolidated income statements, balance sheets and cashflows.
• Oversee subsidiary financial statement submissions and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Contribute to finance system implementation and process improvements.
• Provide guidance on accounting policies and technical matters.
• Participate in ad hoc finance projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and group accounting.
• Hands on experience with multi-currency, large scale consolidations.
• Proficiency in Excel and consolidation systems.
• Strong communicator with ability to build relationships across the business.
• Process-oriented, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
