Group Financial Accountant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Group Financial Accountant to join a Group Finance function. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to apply their technical expertise in a fast-paced international group.
You'll play a key role in the consolidation and reporting of group financial results, working closely with senior finance stakeholders.

• Location: Crawley
• 12 month FTC
• Salary: £60-£80K (Depending on experience).
• Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly group consolidations, across multiple entities and currencies.
• Assist in the preparation of group financial statements in line with IFRS or relevant reporting standards.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Ensure financial data integrity across group entities and support process improvements for group reporting.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams and contribute to continuous improvement of consolidation and reporting tools.
• Provide analysis and support for ad hoc projects, including business disposals and other corporate activities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), trained in a practice environment.
• Proven group consolidation experience in a multi-entity corporate structure.
• Experience working with multi-currency consolidations and foreign exchange impacts.
• Strong group financial reporting experience with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Advanced Excel skills

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience working within an international group
• Understanding of corporate tax principles or involvement in tax reporting.
• Familiarity with Cognos or similar financial reporting/consolidation systems.
• Exposure to accounting for disposals, discontinued operations, or business carve-outs.
