Group Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controller to join a growing, technology business based in Cambridge. The role is to provide maternity cover and is offered until the end of September 2026.  

This role offers the chance to lead a talented finance team and play a key role in financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. The successful candidate will manage a team across the UK and US, ensuring efficient month-end processes, accurate revenue recognition, and robust financial forecasting. Responsibilities include overseeing payroll, budgeting, external audits, and tax compliance, while continuously seeking ways to improve financial systems and processes.

A working knowledge of UK and international accounting standards, along with experience in process improvement and financial software, is essential.

Applicants must be experienced Financial Controllers with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. You will be a qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA  or equivalent, and a proven track record in managing teams. Candidates will ideally be practice trained.
