Group Financial Controller

Group Financial Controller, Media Tech, West London, £600-£800pd ASAP start.

Altum Consulting are recruiting for a Group Financial Controller to join an established private equity backed business in West London. This role will suit an experienced Group Financial Controller with strong deal/external negotiation experience. Applying candidates must be immediately available/on a short notice period.

Role:

• Manage, lead and motivate a high-quality finance team (x2 direct reports)
• Provide clear consolidated reporting of Group results to senior stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with business and process owners to continually improve financial reporting process.
• Responsible for group audit process.
• Develop processes to deliver accurate, compliant and documented reporting solutions to stakeholders.
• Ensure financial controls are performed accurately in compliance with the Group's Control Framework.
• Be the control lead across commercial negotiations.

You'll be/have

• A Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA) with significant experience in a Group Financial Controller role.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles (IFRS) and robust financial accounting processes and controls.
• Proven experience in leading, coaching and developing finance teams enabling succession plans for each role and operational effectiveness to the highest professional standards.
• Commercially minded and already have a demonstrable track record of broad financial leadership in a fast-paced environment.
