Group Financial Reporting Accountant - 3-Month Contract (Central London)

Interim Group Financial Reporting Accountant - FTSE 250 | 3-Month Contract | Central London | £500 /day

We are currently supporting a FTSE 250 manufacturing business based in Central London in their search for an Interim Group Financial Reporting Accountant to join the team on a 3-month contract. This is a high-impact role requiring an experienced financial reporting professional with a proven background in complex, listed environments.

Start date: ASAP

Location: Central London (4 days /week in the office)

Contract length: 3 months (with potential to extend)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Group Finance team in the preparation and delivery of consolidated financial statements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and FTSE reporting requirements
• Assist with external audit processes and liaise with auditors
• Prepare technical accounting papers and ensure compliance with evolving standards
• Drive best practice in group reporting and contribute to process improvements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in financial reporting within FTSE 250 or FTSE 100 companies
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Available to start immediately or at very short notice
