Group Tax Manager

Job Title: Group Tax Manager (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: London
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 pro rata
Contract: 6-month fixed term

We are partnered with an international Commodities company who are looking fro a Tax Manager to join their team.This role supports internal and external group tax reporting, manages key compliance processes, and contributes to wider tax risk and governance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and review group tax reporting, including effective tax rate analysis and consolidated tax positions.
• Manage Country-by-Country Reporting and BEPS Pillar 2 obligations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Oversee VAT compliance across UK and overseas entities, providing technical guidance as needed.
• Review corporate tax compliance for the UK and other jurisdictions, liaising with relevant tax authorities.
• Support employment and expatriate tax matters including PAYE settlement agreements and short-term business visitor reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation of tax reporting systems, and legislative change monitoring.
• Provide ad hoc tax advisory support and contribute to tax strategy, governance, and risk management initiatives.

About You:

• ATT/CTA/ACA/ICAS qualified.
• Strong tax reporting and accounting skills, ideally with exposure to multinational groups.
• Experience in automation of tax reporting systems and use of financial accounting software (e.g., Oracle TRCS).
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
• Previous experience in oil and gas or energy services is desirable but not essential.
