We are seeking a dedicated Handy Person for a care home in Edinburgh. This role involves performing simple maintenance checks and running errands, including collecting patient prescriptions. The position offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for someone who values a balanced work schedule.

• Conduct routine maintenance checks focusing on water systems, heating, and overall cleanliness of the care home.
• Run errands to collect prescriptions and other necessary items for patients.
• Provide general routine assistance within the care home to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with the care home staff to address any immediate maintenance or operational needs.

• Use of your own vehicle each day - Mileage covered for business purposes
• Experience in a similar maintenance/caretaking or handy person role is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's licence as driving is a requirement for the role.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.

• Flexible start and end times, with a commitment to 8 hours per day.
