Hatchery Operative

At GiGroup we are searching for reliable candidates who stand out from the rest, these candidates would be needed for our Hatchery in Market Rasen. Due to the location being out of town we insist these candidates have their own transport.

Here you will help assist the running of the Hatchery and participate in daily duties which are fundamental to the business.

Key Responsibilities -

- Sorting chicks efficiently into the required grades and quantities, ready for farm delivery,
- Assisting in the effective movement of the eggs from storage to incubating machines and then forwarding them to hatching machines,
- Cleaning all equipment after use to uphold the required standard,
- Safeguarding bio security and following the strict procedures presented,
- Observing build welfare and health and safety on site at all times,

The candidate -

- A good level of standard English alongside basic numeracy skills,
- Ability to work in a team,
- Good communication skills,
- Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks put to them,
- Experience within a relevant field is desirable however it isn't essential due to full on site training,

Pay Rate - £12.21 per hour

Working hours - Monday 0600 - 1700
- Tuesday 0600 - 1600
- Friday 0600 - 1730
- Saturday 0600 - 1130
