AI Lead
Location: Remote (UK time zones preferred; open to global applicants if they have the full right to work in th UK)
Engagement: Ongoing Contract- Outside of IR35

A multi-agency group at the forefront performance marketing is seeking a AI Lead to help shape and implement its AI strategy. This is a high-impact, strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone passionate about the transformative potential of AI in creative and operational contexts.

As part of a central team working across several agencies, you'll collaborate with leadership and cross-disciplinary teams to identify opportunities, build practical solutions, and guide adoption of AI-powered tools and workflows.

• Identify high-impact AI opportunities across internal and client-facing workflows

• Define and execute strategic roadmaps for AI integration and innovation

• Build and deploy custom AI tools to support automation, content creation, and data analysis

• Lead the development of AI-enhanced products to augment existing service offerings

• Deliver training and support to upskill teams in practical, creative AI use

• Collaborate with stakeholders including strategists, technologists, and creatives

• Translate technical AI capabilities into accessible, valuable tools for non-technical users

• Hands-on builder with a strategic mindset and strong initiative

• Experienced in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions end-to-end

• Technically confident but commercially grounded - able to prioritise impact

• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a flexible, fully remote setting

• Curious, pragmatic, and eager to explore new applications of AI

• Proven experience designing and delivering AI-powered tools or products (LLMs, custom models, API integrations)

• Solid understanding of current AI technologies and their limitations

• Ability to assess business needs and map appropriate AI solutions

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams

• Experience with AI/ML development frameworks and prototyping environments

• Bonus: Familiarity with marketing, media, or creative agency environments

• Bonus: Based in the UK or available to work in UK-friendly time zones
