Location: London (Hybrid)

Lorien's UK leading Investment banking client are currently looking for a highly skilled Head of Data Controls to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.

Overview:

The Head of Data Controls will oversee the defined data control strategy set by the Head of ITO Data Controls. As such, she/he is responsible for following the created program to:

• Follow the inventory of ITO data,
• Follow the risk-based approach on those processors and hence on the data itself,
• Analyse and follow the existing data controls in place,
• Follow the data remediation or data control processes in place, and prioritize based on the above

In following the defined program put in place by the Head of the ITO Data Controls team, she/he collaborates with cross-functional teams and needs to develop strong relationships with stakeholders. She/he syndicates the views of various stakeholders, including CIB ITO Architecture, CIB IT Infrastructure, CIB IT Production, CIB ITO CCCO Cybersecurity and Operational Resilience

She/he is responsible for following the defined roadmap set by the Head of ITO Data Controls team for this program, adhering to a challenging timeline, and needs to identify opportunities to align the data control strategy with the organization developments.

Key skills required:

• Extensive years of experience in IT or Operations
• Strong soft skills in terms of influence, communication and coordination
• Strong ability to manage agile delivery with key results
• Ability to lead reasonably sized programs covering a multitude of areas and teams
• Good understanding of technology architecture
• Basic understanding of data analytics
• Good commercial and communication / relationship management skills.
