Head of Data Science and AI - 12 Months

Network IT is currently recruiting for a Head of Data Science and AI, to join our client on a 12 month initial contract.

Our client is a fantastic business, that rely on ingesting, processing and publishing data – with increasing volumes of data coming through, there is a huge demand on becoming more efficient, embracing AI and automation to drive performance.

In this role you will be responsible for strategising and operationalising the use of data science and AI, to enhance capabilities and bring greater efficiency, and customer benefits as a result.

You’ll be leading a team of data scientists, whilst also working with CxO level stakeholders to provide organisational leadership, and success in the use of data science and AI.

Role: Head of Data Science and AI
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: £850-900 per day
Status: Inside IR35
Location: South West
Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working (happy to discuss further)

Key Skills for your profile:

• Demonstratable leadership experience within the use and application of AI and Data Science
• Working on data science and AI strategy, adoption and application
• Evidence of working with CxO level stakeholders
• Leadership of a team of data scientists, able to develop skills and capability of this team
• Deployment of solutions, experimentation and insight of modern AI / Data Science trends
• Delivery of a long-term strategy for the function
• Must be eligible for SC clearance, nice to have if already cleared
