As our new Head of English, you will be responsible for maintaining the high level of learning in the department, ensuring the delivery of engaging and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Provide dynamic leadership and strategic direction as Head of English

• Oversee the planning and delivery of the English curriculum, particularly at GCSE level

• Support and mentor ECTs and other teaching staff

• Uphold and further enhance academic standards within the department

• Foster a collaborative, supportive culture among staff and students

• Proven track record of excellent classroom teaching

• Experience supporting curriculum development and teacher mentoring

• Strong leadership and communication skills
