Head of Facilities Management

The Property Group is seeking a Head of Facilities Management to lead our Facilities Management Team. This role involves overseeing maintenance, repairs, and minor projects through an outsourced maintenance provision. You will manage a team of contract managers and facilities managers, ensuring successful delivery across all aspects of hard and soft services, and implementing an audit programme to ensure full statutory compliance. The goal is to ensure LFB buildings are comfortable, functional, efficient, and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the maintenance strategy and approach, including sourcing strategies for service requirements.
• Ensure successful delivery of FM services to the LFB estate, PFI estate, and minor projects.
• Oversee a team to maintain high standards and meet contractual requirements.

Position Details:

• Title: Head of Facilities Management (Properties and Estates)
• Rate Range: £277.62-£344.83 PAYE or £366.18-£455.62 Umbrella per day
• Contract Length: 2-3 months
• Location: 2-3 days in Southwark Office / 2 days WFH

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Experienced in property and facilities management, including procurement and project delivery (Essential).
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and build strong relationships across various boundaries.
• Expertise in establishing and maintaining effective governance controls in complex environments.
• In-depth knowledge of contract management strategies (Essential).
