Head of Finance - 12 month FTC

Head of Finance | FMCG | Clapham | Hybrid | 1 year FTC | £100,000 -£110,000

JasperRose is working with a well-known FMCG business based in the heart of Clapham who are looking to hire a Head of Finance to join the team on a 1 year FTC covering maternity leave. This is a hybrid role, managing a sizeable finance team and working alongside the senior leadership team. This is an exciting role focussing on commercial finance whilst overseeing the technical accounting function.

Key duties:

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and future financial planning processes to align with the company’s new strategic goals including monitoring of the business performance against budgets
• Collaborate with department heads acting as the strategic business partner, supporting business initiatives and providing recommendations for senior leadership for cost reduction and margin improvement for products
• Lead the company sales commission project, implementing and designing incentive schemes aligned with budgets
• Prepare the monthly financial reports fot eh board
• Supporting the Financial Controller team in the production of group statements
• Managing the cashflow
• Overseeing the commercial finance, control and transactional finance teams ensuring strong financial compliance
• Adhoc commercial projects and reporting

To be suitable for this role you have to be qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA equivalent with at least 5 years post qualification experience in senior roles. It would be advantageous to have previous experience of improving financial process, automation projects and completing strategic financial projects. You must have previous experience of team management and have a strong understanding of commercial finance.
