Head of Finance

Head of Finance - 6-Month FTC - Construction/Manufacturing background required.

Greater London - Hybrid (3/4 day per week in the office)

£85,000 - £100,000 + benefits

An international market leader in manufacturing and construction solutions is seeking a hands-on Head of Finance to cover the UK & EU region during a key period of growth and acquisitions. Turnover is currently £75m, with ambitious plans to scale

This is a high-impact role, managing both commercial finance and transactional teams, and partnering with senior leaders to deliver transparency, performance, and growth.

What you'll do:

• Own the P&L, balance sheet, and financial reporting for UK/EU.
• Lead month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with operations on project profitability, WIP, and cost control.
• Drive automation, efficiencies, and process improvements.
• Support M&A and integration activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
• Available to start within a one week notice period, ideally immediately available.
• Background in manufacturing or construction (WIP/project accounting a plus).
• Experience in both commercial finance and transactional control.
• US GAAP knowledge desirable, but not essential.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, SME mindset with the ability to thrive in a growth environment.
