Head of Health & Safety

Location: Rotherham (S60)

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Pay: £40.00-£45.00ph paid weekly via umbrella - Inside IR35 (No CIS/LTD)

Duration: Ongoing Contract - Long Term

Duties

• Substantial and successful direct management experience in one or more services within Health and Safety
• Demonstratable experience in Health, Safety and Welfare Legal and Statutory requirements, responsibilities and obligations of a large, diverse and complex organisation
• Experience of developing Health, Safety and Welfare policies, strategies, practices, systems, audits, reviews, performance standards and targets needed to ensure compliance with Legal and Statutory requirements, responsibilities and obligations of a large, diverse and complex organisation.

• Successful track record in driving measurable performance and improvement of services
• Substantial and successful experience of leading, inspiring and motivating others (e.g. staff, public and external stakeholders) to achieve positive outcomes, aims and objectives
• Exploiting new opportunities, leading and managing change to achieve improved outcomes-based customer focused services.
• Successful budget management in a comparable organisation including evaluation of competing budgetary priorities within tight financial limits
