Head of Learning & Development

My London-based NHS Trust client, is seeking an experienced and strategic Interim Head of Learning and Development to lead the Trust's education, training, and staff development functions during a critical period of transition.

This short-term leadership role will act as a vital bridge, ensuring continuity and momentum in shaping a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Trust's Learning and Development Strategy.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory training requirements.
• Oversee the Learning and Development Team, Apprenticeships, and Mandatory Training functions.
• Design and manage career pathways, talent management frameworks, and leadership development programmes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise education funding and partnership opportunities.
• Champion digital learning and innovation in training delivery.
• Support organisational culture change and staff experience initiatives.
• Represent the Trust in regional and national education and workforce forums.
