Head of Management Reporting

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious professional to lead the Management Reporting team in the Accounting & Finance department of a prominent Public Sector organisation. The successful candidate will be based in Cardiff and will play a significant role in the organisations development and strategic direction.

Description

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, the Head of Management Reporting plays a pivotal role in the strategic direction of the organisation as well as driving "Value" and "Performance" through insightful business intelligence and data.

• Leading the Management Reporting team to deliver high-quality financial reports.
• Lead on the creation of a "Value" lead proposition to Management reporting
• Providing strategic financial advice to key stakeholders.
• Driving process improvement initiatives within the department.
• Develop ongoing reports and dashboards used by the organisation
• Participating in strategic planning meetings and contributing to the overall direction of the organisation.

Profile

A successful Head of Management Reporting should have:

• Professional qualification in ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CIPFA
• Proven experience in Management Reporting in Large companies. NO requirement for sector specific skills.
• Ability to think strategically and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders

Job Offer

• A competitive salary, estimated between £380 and £445 daily via an umbrella company. (inside IR35)
• Hybrid working - 2 days on site in Cardiff
• An initial 6 month assignment - potential for extension
