Head of Schools Finance

Ambient People is recruiting an interim Head of Schools Finance for a group of three independent schools in central London.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Office, you will provide vital interim cover whilst a permanent recruitment process is completed.

You will manage a centralised team of finance staff providing ongoing finance services to the schools. Strategically, you will work closely with governors and parents on the aftermath of the application of VAT to school fees, both from the perspective of the parents and that of the school.

You will be a qualified accountant with a track record in a similar group role or as Bursar in an independent school. You will also be able to travel to a central London office at least three days per week. Day rate dependent on experience.
