If you have strong administrative skills and at least a year's experience of working within Health & Safety, and are looking to develop your career further within Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental systems, then this Health and Safety Coordinator position could be perfect for you!

Reporting directly to the SHEQ Manager, the Health and Safety Coordinator will carry out routine health & safety and quality activities, including writing system documentation, risk assessments, internal audits and routine testing and monitoring.  The Health and Safety Coordinator will also be responsible for carrying out staff inductions, ensuring that all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformities are correctly reported and investigated, will be responsible for document control and will maintain SHEQ records including environmental statistics, instrument calibration and safety equipment, whilst taking on other administrative duties as required

What’s required to be successful in this Health and Safety Coordinator role?

• Strong administrative skills gained from having worked within a Health & Safety position
• Some experience across responsibilities such as writing system documentation, carrying out risk assessments, supporting internal audits and carrying out routine testing and monitoring
• Experience gained within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment would be of particular interest, but candidates from any commercial background will be considered
• Any experience of standards such as ISO45001, ISO90001, ISO14001 and ISO27001 would be advantageous
