We are recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a fantastic business on a 6-month contract.

The business is a leading contractor in the construction industry. It has a fantastic reputation within its field and has a history of hundreds of projects across Europe.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most high profile projects within the business!

This is an urgent requirement - They can accommodate an immediate start.

This is a contract position with the potential to go permanent.

Health & Safety Manager - Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must have proven Health & Safety experience, ideally within a construction based environment
• Responsible for carrying out daily Health & Safety inspection on the project
• Reporting to the Project Manager and Managing Director
• Reviewing sub-contractor RAMS
• Effective communication skills and able to deal with people at all levels
• Carrying out toolbox talks and delivering briefings
• Responsible for assisting site teams and supporting with site related health and safety issues
• Assisting in introducing new health, safety and environmental initiatives
• Carrying out accident reports and near miss analysis
• Experience with relevant regulations such as LOLER, PUWER, ISO45001, Health & Safety at Work act 1974
• You will be positive, reliable and flexible in your approach
