We’re looking for a professional and motivated Helpdesk Operative to join a high-profile retailer in Nottingham. This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of £12.21, offering free on-site parking and easy access via public transport. The role will begin on a temporary basis, with a strong potential to become permanent.

As a Helpdesk Operative, you’ll play a key role in supporting facilities operations. You’ll be the first point of contact for incoming requests, handling phone calls and emails efficiently and professionally. Your responsibilities will include logging jobs, assigning work orders, and coordinating with engineers and contractors to ensure smooth service delivery.
You’ll manage calls from start to finish, updating and maintaining accurate records in the client’s CAFM system. You’ll prioritise tasks based on the urgency and nature of each issue, schedule works to meet service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure subcontractor documentation is accurate and complete. You’ll also help allocate internal engineers to maintenance tasks and emergency call-outs, monitor progress, and ensure all work aligns with the scope of the contract.
